Depicting Personal Connections

As someone who grew up at First Baptist Church, I have many connections to American Baptist ministries in Wisconsin. I strove to include an number of these connections in the mural. The most prominent of these is the scene of the last supper in the upper room. This is depicted as taking place in Judson tower. Through one window one can see Christ and the disciples breaking bread. In the other window is Judas receiving 30 pieces of silver.

The border also contains a number of images that connect to this region. I have fond memories of all of these places. These include the American Baptist Symbol, Pres House (Where my mother worked for many years and where I married JungJa), First Baptist Church (Where I grew up and was baptized), a smaller tower from Green Lake, Wayland House (Where I met my wife), maps of Wisconsin and the Madison Lakes, The Crossing Building (where I attended worship for 8 years) and the logo of Camp Tamarack (Where I was a young camper).
